(And neither one of us are typically very good at mini golf). And it didn't take more than 2 shots for my boyfriend or I to make it into the hole. However, we didn't go for the decorations, we went to play mini golf. The entire course was lined with beautifully done props, and they had a little game on the bottom of the score sheet where you had to try to find certain props. They had cool music playing, and most of the course was indoors, and you could see some great props, which drew us right in. Which lead us to believe that this would be a great course to play. Also, riding a zipline is a lot easier than trying to knock a tiny ball into a tiny hole with a club.There was a sign outside that said "Championship course" or something along those lines. We even provide all the safety gear, like helmet and gloves. You don't even have to have any previous experience just follow the instructions of your guides, and you're ready to take off. Each zipline is a unique experience, complete with heights, speed and some spectacular views of the mountains. We'll get you set up for a two- to three-hour adventure, during which you'll take flight on seven different ziplines. Of course, miniature golf is just one of the many awesome things you and your family can enjoy when you come to the Smokies for a day, a weekend or an entire vacation. For example, Gatlin's Mini Golf also offers laser tag, an escape room, ropes course, bumper cars and more.

A giant shark's jaws and a larger-than-life dinosaur are among the features you'll encounter along the way. Think Indiana Jones meets putter and golf balls. This 18-hole indoor layout is set against an ancient jungle temple backdrop. Here's another option for those more interested in a climate-controlled mini-golf experience. They're a great source of shade on hot afternoons. The attraction has won multiple awards for its imaginative use of plants and flowers throughout both courses, and several hardwood oak trees on site are more than 100 years old. Each hole tells a story about the area's first settlers and their fascinating past. Your journey from first hole to last is a trip through the history of Gatlinburg and the surrounding region. Gatlin Mini Golf's two outdoor miniature golf courses offer a total of 45 holes of action. We'll take you back to Gatlinburg for this one. This site actually offers three different courses for a total of 54 holes of play. The theme here, as you might expect, is barnyard-based, complete with animated farm animals and Old MacDonald himself on hand to wave hello. This is the other outdoor Ripley golf attraction, and you'll find it on the Parkway in Sevierville, near the entrance to Tanger Outlet Center. Interactive displays and spinning challenges add new dimensions to this classic family activity. Features include a waterfall, a rafting bear, a fort and animatronic critters. You'll find two 18-hole courses that meander through a wooded and rustic frontier-themed setting. The other one is in Sevierville (see below), but we'll start with this outfit on the outskirts of downtown Gatlinburg. This is one of two outdoor miniature golf attractions operated by Ripley Entertainment.
